Deep Dive in SPARQL
Practical SPARQL is an in-depth introduction to the lesser-known aspects of SPARQL. Participants learn to perform hands-on complex queries. The finer details of the specification are extensively discussed, as well as the advanced tools that SPARQL offers to distil information from knowledge graphs. Core principles are also explained, so that the participant gets a sense of complexity and performance. The course uses TopBraid Composer (the free edition), or ARQ, the open source command-line tool from Apache Jena, depending on the preference of the participant. The Learning SPARQL course book by Bob DucCharme is distributed free of charge.
